Hello, if you are reading this, it is not a coincidence that you are here!
I'd love to introduce myself, I am Dr. Martha Tapia, and I enjoy helping people find ways to improve their life. I am a mother of 5 children and happily married for 13 years. I understand that life can bring about challenges and difficulties as a mother, a wife, and a daughter. I myself have raised a disabled child and autistic nephew.
Allow me to tell you a little more about myself. I arrived to The United States at 16 years old from my homeland, Ecuador. I picked up English quickly, making me bilingual in Spanish and English. I graduated highschool in New York City with Honors and went on to attend Staten Island Community College and Metropolitan University. Immediately after, I joined the NY Police Academy. I retired as a NYPD officer and 9/11 First Responder. After retirement, I enrolled in Ecotheos International University and The Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy.
My accomplishments include a Masters and a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Philosophy, Counseling and Systematic Family Theo-Therapy from EcoTheos International University. I also have a Therapeutic Family Counselor Level III Certification from the International Reciprocity Board of Therapeutic and Rehabilitation Professionals Board (IRBO). I am also certified as an EMDR Adult Therapist and EMDR Children & Adolescence Therapist. Lastly, I am a EMDRIA Member and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with a state-licensed diploma from The Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy. Also a Member of the International Hypnotherapist Association. "God has created this beautiful world so you can enjoy living in it, if you have tried everything else with no results, give us a chance to help you."
